The house: A whole-house remodel in the Denver area. The old mechanical room was full of older piping and controls.
The design: Designed from a room-by-room heat loss. The heat-loss numbers set the tubing spacing.
The build: PEX was fastened to the subfloor at measured on-center spacing and run back to manifolds in each area.
The plant: A new wall-hung high-efficiency boiler, circulators and zone controls replaced the old equipment in a rebuilt mechanical room.
