Campus Sidewalk Snowmelt

The site: Sidewalk snowmelt for a Denver-area school campus, including sections tied into existing walks. Under the slab: Rigid insulation board went down first, so the heat goes up into the concrete instead of into the ground. The loops: PEX loops were tied to the reinforcing at consistent spacing. The vaults: The loops return to in-ground manifold vaults placed along the walk, so circuits can be balanced and serviced without breaking concrete.
